Dissertation note: Tesis(Licenciatura en Inglés); Venegas, Gina; Dir. Summary: The teaching-learning process of English language from a pedagogical perspectivehas creative methodologies and teaching methods. Nevertheless, a lot of Englishteachers have focused on a detailed management of rules and grammaticalstructures about the language during the class, and they don’t take account thebenefits of developing the speaking skill. This research aims at studying the use ofInteractive Conversation Clubs during English Class with students from the(I.B.P.) International Baccalaureate Program “Primero De Abril” High School,and gives an immediate overview about the intensive and continuous use ofactivities as a part of English teaching-learning process to improve and developthe English speaking skill. The results point to encourage and stimulate the use ofvoiceless videos, simultaneous questions and answers, role play and didacticmaterial in the process of speaking to develop it through the sequential stages ofspeaking, which are initially based on pre-conversation, while- conversation andpost- conversation. So, an interactive conversation club is important in theteaching-learning process to acquire a new language.
