Real Talk 1 is a textbook for English language learners that uses authentic listening passages in a variety of genuine contexts as the basis for the development of listening and speaking skills. The text is designed for students at the high intermediate level in both second-and foreign-language environments. Consists of eight chapters, each of which is organized around a general theme such as travel or shopping. Each chapter is then divided into four parts, corre-sponding to-and named after-the four contexts in which spoken English normally occurs, that is, In Person, On the Air, and In Class. The following is a brief description of the recording in each part.
